About Baby Basic Cincinnati

Baby Basics of Cincinnati is a 501(C)3 non-profit organization that provides and distributes diapers to low-income, working families in Western Cincinnati. We believe that early intervention with infants is one of the best ways to maximize their potential to thrive. We recognize that diapers are a constant, expensive necessity; and by providing these children with diapers, we are ensuring that the need for hygienic essentials is met. We also provide their families, who are struggling to make ends meet, but have incomes too high to qualify for federal and state subsidies, with a supportive safety net from welfare and the opportunity to succeed. We will do this in a caring environment, providing a listening ear, and often, referrals for help, educational programs, and other services.

Diapers roughly cost about $60 to $80 a month. For most people, that's not much money; but to a family that's lower income and working really hard (maybe minimum wage or less), it's a huge impact. These families are very thankful that they have one less thing to worry about.

2015 we gave over 34,968 diapers to families who are working to make ends meet. We are always looking for donations of diapers (especially sizes 4, 5 and 6).

Volunteers are always needed for diaper distributions on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month. We also have sponsored fundraising events throughout the year - check out our events page for the latest happenings.
